Gentlemen,
Christ said in Luke, "The harvest is rich but the laborers are few, so ask the Lord of the Harvest to send laborers to do His harvesting." We are asking, and you have been chosen.
The conference is right around the corner, and it is time that we put a full court spiritual (as well as temporal) press on getting our brothers to the conference over the next three weeks. We have said this before, but it is worth repeating... there is no such thing a coincidence. Christ has called you personally to reach out into the deep, and bring men home to His Church.
Here is a question to ponder... what are you willing to do to save a soul? Could it be as simple as asking a friend, brother, father, son, parishioner, and / or co-worker to attend a conference? Could it be that straightforward? The answer is.. Yes. Unfortunately, it is easy to say it... but very hard to do it. Let's be real... We need help. This is where we come together as a brotherhood to challenge, and encourage each other to go the extra mile.
So, to help us carry this cross we are going to first turn to our Lord in prayer. We are asking each one of you to call every apostolate, ministry, charity, parish, family member, friend, anyone and everyone you can think of to pray for the success of the conference. Ask them to pray that we do God's Will, that we are open to His inspirations, and that we all become laborers in His vineyard. Remember how Christ works... He uses us to be His hands, feet, and mouth.
Next, we are going to ask each person who is receiving this e-mail to sign up one additional person (brother, son, father, friend, parishioner). Currently, we are just under 2,100 registrations, and the location can hold over 4,000. So, we have plenty of room to expand.
Finally, our leadership team will do everything in its power to eliminate any reason for someone not attending. The stakes are too high for us not to give it 100%. Nobody will be turned away due to cost. If the conference cost is more than you can afford, please let us know via email, and we'll work out an alternative.
For those who have registered through the mail, we will not be mailing out your tickets / name-tags this year. You can pick them up at the door on the morning of the conference.
Men... our families, our friends, our church, and our country need heroes…they need men who are willing to sacrifice for a greater good. They need you!
